Fight Back Fatigue
Long shifts, back-to-back cases, and the dreaded on-call hours—fatigue is a constant visitor in radiology. Fight back with hydration (yes, water > endless coffee), smart snacking (protein > sugar crash), and movement (stretch those shoulders!). If possible, sneak in power naps before night call—20 minutes can refresh more than another latte. Don’t forget recovery after shift: blackout curtains, white noise, and phone-free time before bed. You care for others all day—make sure sleep cares for you, too.
