Mindfulness
Mindfulness doesn’t need incense or hour-long meditations—it can fit right into a busy shift! Between scans, pause for three deep belly breaths while focusing only on the inhale and exhale. Use patient prep time as a grounding moment: really listen, make eye contact, and let that human connection center you. Even adjusting your posture before hitting “scan” can be a mindfulness cue. The more present you feel, the less drained you’ll be by the end of the shift. Think of it as pixel-perfect care—for yourself!
