Ergonomics: Because You’re Not a Human Pretzel

If you’ve ever leaned over a stretcher like you're auditioning for Cirque du Soleil, this one’s for you. Proper ergonomics is basically self-love for techs: raise the table, use slide boards without shame, keep the patient close, and avoid twisting like your spine is made of licorice. Today’s heavier patient loads and faster workflow make body mechanics more important than ever. Add micro-stretches between cases—neck rolls, chest opens, hip shifts. Your future self (and your chiropractor) will thank you. You deserve to feel good after your shift, not just survive it.
